Think for a moment about Choosing.
Then go through these statements and check if you agree with them:
1 – You have to make your own choices
2 – More options lead to better choices
3 – Never say no to choice
If you have agreed with the three of them, most likely you enview Choosing as the americans do:
The story of limitless choice is associated with freedom and success for ourselves. Limitless choice is a right that we have as individuals, and a way to express ourselves.
Whichever the response you have given, I encourage you to watch this lecture from Sheena Iyengar, where she deepens about The Art of Choosing:
Lecture  SHEEMA IYENGAR
As you can see, perspectives around choosing change dramatically depending on our culture, our traditions, our ability to spot differences and the willingness to face floods of alternatives and potential confusion.
We need to take a different approach around this matter and acknowledge + consider different perspectives, in order to fully grasp the real value of Choosing. In Ms Iyengar´s own words: “… No matter where we are, we have a responsibility to learn the more options that exist, to open ourselves to a wider view array of what choice can do and represent… We will realize the full potential of Choice…”.
THINK DIFFERENT!!!
